This month, we want to share one of our favorite guided breathwork and meditations for calming fear and anxiety. We don’t have to tell you that with the state of the world today, it’s easy to get caught up in feelings of fear—of the unknown, of the future, and even of the state of the world.
As mamas, we can set the tone for our families by moving through these emotions with ease and grace. It doesn’t mean we never feel fear and anxiety, but instead we can bring them into the body, and ultimately move them out of our energy fields.
This kundalini mediation to Calm the Heart is done in three equal sections of three minutes each. In 9 minutes, you can take your power back, and feel more grounded and settled in the moment. Allow any feelings to come up — we cry during this meditation regularly! — for the ultimate release.
We love this meditation for everyday use, but especially after a challenging conversation with a partner or a tough day with a toddler.
